Devinder completed her undergraduate studies in physics and astronomy and spent eight months working at the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope. She went on to attend law school at the University of Victoria and participated in the co-op program, which allowed her to combine her studies with work experience. Her work terms included an assignment with the Appeals Branch of the British Columbia Ministry of Small Business and Revenue, where she reviewed appeals brought under the Social Service Tax Act and the Property Transfer Tax Act.

After completing her law degree in 2004, Devinder articled with the British Columbia Ministry of the Attorney General. Her work included a rotation in the Revenue/Taxation Department, where she provided and assisted with legal opinions on various provincial taxation matters.

During law school, Devinder spent a work term at Dwyer Tax Lawyers. We were very impressed with her scientific approach to problems and her keen intellect. We are very pleased to welcome Devinder back. Clients will find her a warm and engaging adviser.
